We provide a range of urban residential homes based in the suburbs of larger cities and in rural villages, offering a variety of settings to cater to the differing needs of people we support. 

Overview

Our Urban homes offer a combination of a quiet community residence with facilities close by or accessible by bus. Depending on location, these include local shops, local pubs, parks, walking trails, beaches, theatres, cinemas, leisure centres and gyms, bowling alleys, educational establishments and access to larger city centres.

In our urban residences, support packages are tailored to individual need and focus on helping the people we support to fulfil their potential. This is achieved by identifying individuals’ interests and ambitions, developing vocational and life skills, and gaining work placements or meaningful roles within the local community.

Individuals living in our urban locations also have the opportunity to attend the farms to further develop their skills and interests, taking part in a range of opportunities including animal care, woodland walks, camping trips, horticulture, and visits to a variety of events and activities.

Our Residential Homes

Silver Tree Lodge

Silver Tree Lodge is an 8 bedded service where we provide support for a mixed group of adults and strive to support individuals to identify thier own interests and ambitions through the development of vocational and life skills.

The property is located in a picturesque setting a short walk from the beach. There is an abundance of resources and community facilities close by including a modern college with excellent amenities, several theatres, a bowling alley, scenic parks, woodlands and local beaches.

Bradbury House

Bradbury House provides specialised, person-centred packages of support with the emphasis being on individuals fulfilling their potential through the development of vocational and life skills. The vast majority of the people living at Bradbury House have done so for a long time and would certainly consider it their home.

Located in a quiet suburb of South Bristol, there is a wealth of community facilities close by, such as local shops, parks, a cinema and a leisure centre. The service also has easy access into Bristol City Centre and the surrounding countryside.

There is a communal kitchen, dining area, lounge and extensive gardens. There is a dedicated activity hub for people to use for social and recreational activities.

Cypress Lodge

Cypress Lodge is a development of 4 self-contained flats within Cyprus Lodge and 5 ensuite rooms within Willow Cottage, which sits in the grounds of Cyprus Lodge. They provide support for a mixed group of adults, helping each individual to identify their own interests and ambitions through the development of vocational and life skills.

Both properties are located in a quiet suburb of South Bristol. There is a wealth of community facilities close by such as local shops, parks, a cinema and leisure centres. The service also has easy access into Bristol City Centre and the surrounding countryside.

The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory is a development of ten self-contained flats. This service provides specialist support for a group of adult males who may displaycomplex and enduring mental health needs, learning difficulties, and behaviours of concern.

The property is a grade II listed, detached house and is located in a rural village. There are community facilities close by such as the local village shop, the local pub, farm shops and fantastic walking trails.

The service also has easy access into Bristol City Centre and the surrounding countryside, with a local bus route stopping outside the home.

Street Farm

Street Farm is a development of ten bedrooms supporting all female individuals.

Individuals identify their own interest and ambitions, with a focus on gaining meaningful roles and work placements within the local community.

The main property has six rooms with an additional four adjoining apartments within the grounds.

The apartments comprise of living areas, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. There is also a gym adjacent to one apartment. All come fully furnished with space for Individuals to personalise to their
own tastes.

Our urban locations are designed to provide a peaceful living environment for those that would benefit from being part of a wider community. Based in surburban or village locations, they provide access to social opportunties and work experience. The focus is on helping the people we support to identify areas of interest and to develop vocational and life skills.

Urban Setting

In addition to our tailored approach to care, our philosophy is to enable people to live within a community, and for them to benefit from living as a valued member of that community.

The aim is to be sympathetic to their individual needs and encourage progress for them to succeed with their own goals in life. This will ensure positive outcomes and experiences for people we support.

All our services are underpinned by a positive behavioural support model overseen by our Behavioural Specialist.
